Sesame Workshop
The National Children’s Museum and Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit organization behind Sesame Street, have established a partnership, making NCM the only museum home for Sesame Street within the National Capital area. As part of the partnership, Sesame Street and its characters extend the Workshop’s educational mission with a significant presence in the museum. Interactive exhibits and educational video segments are most integrated into elements of the Museum’s 3 & Undergallery and incorporated in select events and programming. Additionally, Sesame Workshop and NCM collaborate on content development and program creation throughout the Museum space.
