The National Children's Museum is located at National Harbor in Prince George's County, Maryland, just a short drive from downtown Washington, D.C. and its surrounding suburbs.
Sunday: Noon-4 p.m.
Tuesday-Saturday: 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
The Museum is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.
School or Camp Groups
The Museum hosts groups Wednesday-Friday during the following 90-minute sessions: 10-11:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Standard admission is $10 per child or adult, and there is no cost of admission for infants 12 months or younger. NCM members enjoy free admission year-round. Senior tickets (age 65 and over) are available for $8 with valid identification.
Active duty military personnel and their families will receive $1 off each admission (valid for up to four people) on Saturday and Sunday. Please bring a valid military ID to redeem the discount. Tickets must be purchased in person at the NCM box office.
AAA members and their families will receive $1 off admission with valid identification. Tickets must be purchased in person at the NCM box office.
Sesame Place Season Pass members receive $2 off admission with valid identification. Tickets must be purchased in person at the NCM box office.
All ticket sales are final.
It is the policy of the National Children's Museum that all adults must be accompanied by children in their authorized care, or by a staff member.
